River Oaks Community Church of South Holland (ROCC) is a place which cares about people and celebrates their God given purpose. At ROCC, our spirits are strengthened each week through authentic worship, joyful fellowship, and transformational teaching. Our goal at ROCC is to encourage people to pursue God, connect with other believers, and mature in their faith to serve the world around them.

ROCC Youth

Life-Changing, Growth, Mentoring, Close-Knit, Good Times, On Fire. These are just a few of the words that describe ROCC Student Ministry. With the ability to reach and teach this modern generation of Jr. High & Sr. High School students, ROCC youth group has proven that God’s timeless word can be made real and applicable to the youth of today. This close-knit, on-fire group is walking together on a life-changing journey.

Energy, Learning, Songs, Stories, Crafts, Friends. Through the use of story, song and arts & crafts, this high energy ministry geared for ages Pre-K – 5, helps kids learn about God and his amazing love for them. Building a friendship with not only those in their classes, but with Jesus, is another part of what makes ROCC Kidz the only place to be!

Loving, Nurturing, Joyful, Playful. Ministering to the spirits of infants and toddlers is a blessing at the ROCC.

Refreshing, Unified, Joyful, Devotion, Adoration. What better way to show love, adoration and devotion to our heavenly Father, than through song and dance? Combining a love of music with a passion for the Lord, this engaging team will help lead you into an amazing experience of worship!

ROC ED (After School Enrichment)

River Oaks Community Education and Development Corporation (ROC ED) is committed to providing children and youth a safe, educational and fun place to learn, grow and socialize. Our vision is to assist youth in gaining confidence to affect positive change in an increasingly multi-cultural community and world.

The ROCC is committed to sharing the gospel with people from a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances. The ROCC desires to bring hope, healing, and liberty to many.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ Matthew 25:35-36


The ROCC Transportation Ministry faithfully serves the body of Christ, transporting individuals who might otherwise not be able to attend worship services.


The ROCC prayer ministry provides an opportunity for intercession and supplication. The ROCC is a praying church and prayer is intended for us to encounter God and receive the blessings of His Kingdom. Because of Jesus, we can approach God’s throne boldly. The ROCC also has corporate prayer on Wednesdays from 6:45 PM-7:15 PM. 2 Chronicles 7:14 – If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.


All men are invited to participate in the monthly Man Cave where men gather for breakfast, fellowship and discipleship. This provides a forum of authenticity where men can grow in their faith. In addition, conferences and outings occur throughout the year. Upcoming events are posted under the events section of the website.

All women are invited to fellowship with the Women of the ROCC. Whether it is a social outing, Bible Study, outreach project, or retreat, God blesses our time together with joy, laughter, fellowship, wisdom and revelation.

Discipleship and the teaching of God’s word is a core value of the ROCC. All are invited each Sunday at 9:00 AM to grow in God’s Word.

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7


The ROCC Greeters and Hospitality teams joyfully serve to create a welcoming atmosphere of fellowship and connectedness throughout the ROCC community.
